Back To Normal

Well, I'm back at work on a Monday morning feeling far more relaxed than at any time last week! The weekend was good, and very relaxing :) Just what I needed.

Things with Varen seem to have balanced back to mostly normal after Mozambique fractured us rather sharply. I think the space to do our own thing during the week really helped :) We mostly spent the weekend finishing Season One & starting Season Two of House. It is a fantastic series.

One of the funniest quotes I remember was when one of them was commenting that there wasn't a huge difference on one patient reading, only 1% and House responded that if your DNA was only 1% different, you'd be a dolphin! Pahahahahahahaha. Brilliant stuff.

Other than that, we went to a formal dinner party held by Varen's folks on the Saturday evening. Was pretty cool, getting all dressed up and what not but I didn't really know anyone there except his siblings so it was kind of random. But good to do something different on the weekend.

And that is about all the news I have, it looks like it'll be another busy week ... and then a weekend in Cape Town, yay! Oh and Happy Birthday to my fab friend Lia, for Saturday!
